James Rodriquez, 29, the ex-star of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, announced that he had split from his wife, volleyball star Daniela Ospina, after a six-year relationship.

The two did not give much details, but the Spanish press writes that the reason for the split is Helga Lovetaky. The 27-year-old Russian model is a big fan of the Colombian midfielder. Recently, Lovekaty even congratulated Rodriguez on helping lead his Colombia into next summer’s World Cup – to be played in her native Russia. The Bayern attacking midfielder scored his nation’s only goal in the 1-1 draw away to Peru to clinch their spot in the tournament.

The Iberians press writes that the Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, 33, introduced his team-mate James Rodriquez to the Russian beauty at a party and since then they are together.
