Egypt team

Egypt, is a splendid country with 95 million population connecting northeast Africa with the Middle East and dates to the time of the pharaohs. They have the red sea amazing for diving and snorkeling along with Giza’s colossal Pyramids and Great Sphinx.

EGYPT  was the first African country to qualify for the world cup in 1934. Lead by the Argentine manager Hector Cuper, the Pharaohs hope to make a splash at the World Cup 2018 with Mohamed Salah in superb form, scoring over 40 goals for Liverpool this season.

The 25 year old star suffered a shoulder or a collarbone injury during the first half of the champions league final, however, Salah is confident that he will participate in the World Cup for Egypt. Read more HERE

Another player to watch is Omar Gaber 26-year-old. The right back and midfielder is currently on loan at Los Angeles FC from Swiss leaders Basel. He’s got very good speed and can create lot of panic for any defense on counter-attack.

New Bookie Betzest odds for Egypt(6,75) vs Uruguay (1,75) World Cup 2018 – Group A qualifier.

Uruguay team

Uruguay is a beautiful South American nation with 3,5 million population  known for its verdant interior and beach-lined coast. The capital, Montevideo, revolves around Plaza Independencia, once home to a Spanish citadel.

Uruguay proudly display four stars on their jersey – though “only” having won two World  Cup trophies! The other two represent Olympic Gold medals later recognized by FIFA as World Championships. Uruguay finished fourth in 1954 but didn’t qualify for the next tournament. In 2006 they also didn’t qualify but finished fourth in 2010.

Famous head coach  Oscar Tabarez, leads his country Uruguay for the fourth time (1990, 2010, 2014, 2018) at the World Cup, and hopes incoming this one are as high as ever.

Uruguay are a star-studded team with players like Edinson Cavani and an all-time favorite Luis Suarez.

Suarez has been a genuine No. 9 forward over the last 8 years, scoring at least 30 goals for his clubs in six of the last seven seasons. However, Cavani scored at least 40 goals in each of the last two seasons, but has a different role by playing a bit below the top line, helping out defensively.

Another interesting player to watch will be midfielder Matias Vecino 26-year-old. He had a superb season at Inter Milan after some great seasons at Fiorentina. He’s creative, good on the ball and also very aggressive to recover the ball.

Finally Uruguay has a strong defence with Atletico Madrid star Diego Godin leading the back line to perfection.
