Premier League’s 2018/19 season started from 10 August, 2018 and will finish on the 12 May, 2019. There are 20 teams playing each other twice, that amounts to 380 games of great football spectacle. Top four teams will qualify directly for Champions League and last three teams will be relegated to the Championship.

Premier League 2018/19 News &Transfers

It announces to be an exciting season following some great transfers and changes from last season.

Man City signed sign Riyad  Mahrez from Leicester in club-record £60m deal.

Man United were busy as always and transferred  Brazilian midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, and right-back Diogo Dalot from Porto. Jose Mourinho hopes he can understand good with Paul Pogba and straighten the middle.

Following the great Champions League season Liverpool has already spent £174 million in transfers. Jurgen Klopp signed in  in midfielders Naby Keita and Fabinho, winger Xherdan Shaqiri and a £65 million Brazil goalkeeper Alisson.

Antonio Conte Chelsea saga has finally finished and Maurizio Sarri( former Napoli boss) was  appointed as the new Chelsea coach. He ordered the transfer of his ex student from Napoli Jorginho.

Also Chelsea bought 23-year-old is a Spain international  Kepa Arrizabalaga for incredible amount of £71.6m from Athletic Bilbao, making him the world’s most expensive goalkeeper ahead of Liverpool’s Alisson.

Unai Emery has swapped Arsene Wenger as the new Arsenal manager. He transferred young Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, talented Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno as well as defender Sokratis, veteran Swiss fullback Stephan Lichtsteiner and promising midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

Tottenham is the only club out of the top six who didn’t sign a player as yet and their fans are not very happy about it.
