Premier League 2021/22 News &Transfers

It announces to be an exciting season following some great transfers and changes from last season.

Manchester City are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Grealish on a six-year deal.

Grealish

Man City were busy as always and paid record fee to sign Grealish from Aston Villa. They are hunting for a fourth successive Premier league title.

City paid a fee of 100 million pounds ($139 million), Villa chief executive Christian Purslow confirmed. That’s the most ever paid by a Premier League club.

The 25-year-old Grealish signed a six-year contract with manager Pep Guardiola’s squad and  hopes he can integrate fast  and straighten the squad for new season.

Furthermore, Man City signed Scott Carson  from Derby. The 35-year-old joined in 2019, initially on a one-year free loan deal from Derby County.

Following the great Champions League season when Liverpool  spent £174 million in transfers. Jurgen Klopp signed in so far only  22-year-old defender Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

Konate

Konate will move to Anfield after four seasons in the Bundesliga with Leipzig, where he made 95 appearances and scored four goals.

Manchester United has reached agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of French international defender, Raphaël Varane for a fee of £41m including add-ons.

varane

Chelsea signed Goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli  from Fulham

Arsenal signed a permanent deal with  Nuno Tavares (Benfica).

After a great season in 2020/21  Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is confirmed as head coach of Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspurs transferred on a long term contract Bryan Gil from Sevilla, with Erik Lamela joining the Spanish club as part of the deal.

The exciting young winger, 20, joins Tottenham on a contract until 2026.

Leeds United  has signed the 20-year-old of goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson (Vålerenga). He went on to become first choice goalkeeper for the Eliteserien Norway, going on to make a further 56 appearances.

*Premier League clubs are permitted to conduct the purchase and sale of players during the winter and summer transfer windows.

*The Premier League summer 2021 transfer window is open for 12 weeks and will close at 23:00 BST on 31 August.
