Uruguay beat Egypt 1-0 in their opening Group A game at the World Cup Russia in Yekaterinburg with a goal scored by Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez.
Luis Suarez had wasted three incredible chances and Edinson Cavani hit the post.
The victory puts Uruguay on three points in the group A, while Egypt has zero points and is facing a strong Russian team in their second match. read match preview here

For Saudi Arabia, there was not much to adhere to in the opening game against Russia as they looked very week and defensively naïve. Further more the Green Falcons, who did not register a shot on target.
It announces a very hard game for Saudi Arabia especially that they are during Ramadan and have not won any of their last 11 games at the World Cup (W0 D2 L9). Their last win in the World Cup dates back to the 1994 group stages.
